Job Title: BAS Controls Service Technician Pay Rate: 36-45/hr About the Role: A perfect position for a detail oriented BAS technologies enthusiast, working as a supervisor assistant to the BAS Project Manager & a part of a Service Team, performing PM’s, troubleshooting on pneumatic, electric & electronic control systems. Responsibilities: Program, commission, and troubleshoot pneumatic, electric, and electronic BAS controls. Perform system maintenance, service calls, and preventive maintenance based on dispatch schedules. Work with project teams, contractors, and service supervisors to ensure seamless system operation. Implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) to improve system efficiency. Conduct system calibration using basic electronic test equipment. Document service activities, including time sheets, expenses, service orders, and commissioning reports. Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices for BAS troubleshooting and service. Maintain a professional company image, adhering to uniform and safety standards. Work at heights using ladders or lifts (up to 40 ft) to install and service equipment. Requirements Education & Experience: Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Technology OR 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC mechanical and/or control systems. Certifications: Niagara N4, AX & Advanced N4/AX (preferred). Technical Skills: Minimum 5 years as a Control Integrator/Programmer with experience in BAS service and maintenance. Computer Proficiency: PC experience required; familiarity with automation software is a plus. Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
